This Privacy Policy describes how Insulin Daily handles information when you use the Bolus/Fast Acting Compass web and mobile experience.

Health-support app Prototype clinical workflow Not emergency dispatch

Information We Process

Account information Name, email address, password hash, role selection, and linked clinician details when you register.
Health-support entries Blood sugar logs, carbohydrate estimates, wearable readings, emergency contact details, provider recommendations, and shared chart summaries that you choose to save.
Technical information Basic request metadata, session cookies, and app state needed to keep the service running, secure sign-in, and process password reset or alert workflows.

How Information Is Used

Dose and logging features To calculate estimates, show glucose history, export chart data, and help users organize diabetes-management information.
Care coordination To enable linked clinicians to review shared chart snapshots, send recommendations, and participate in in-app messaging when those features are used.
Safety workflows To store emergency contacts and send configured email or SMS alerts when a saved emergency check is triggered by the wearable compatibility flow.

Where Data Is Stored

Some information may be stored locally on your device or browser, especially in guest mode and for local app state. Signed-in account data and saved records may also be stored on configured backend services such as Postgres, email providers, and SMS providers used by the app.

Provider integrations currently include hosted infrastructure used for account storage, password reset delivery, and emergency notifications when those services are configured.

Emergency and Medical Limits

This app is intended as a support tool and estimate workflow, not a substitute for emergency services or professional medical judgment.
Alert delivery may be delayed, fail, or be blocked by third-party providers, network conditions, or carrier rules.
Do not rely on the app alone for severe hypoglycemia, severe hyperglycemia, ketones, loss of consciousness, or any urgent medical situation.

Sharing and Disclosure

Information is shared only through app functions you use, such as linking a clinician account, sending messages, sharing chart snapshots, or triggering emergency notifications to a saved contact. The app also uses service providers needed to host the product and deliver configured email or SMS workflows.

Your Choices

Guest access You can use core parts of the app without creating an account.
Saved data You can remove local logbook data in the app, export chart data, or avoid saving emergency contact information until you want to use those features.
Password resets You can request a secure reset email when account email delivery is configured.

Contact
